1. Tough Mudder Whistler


When: June 17-18, 2017

Description:  Get messy with Whistler's annual Tough Mudder, the grueling 16KM Race is filled with over 20 obstacles and mountains of tough, muddy terrain.  Prepare yourself to get down and dirty with this race and make sure you save some energy for the celebration afterwards.

2. The North Face Whistler Half Marathon


When: June 3rd, 2017

Description: The North Face Whistler Half Marathon has something for everyone.  It offers 5 different distance running courses including the original 21.1KM half marathon, 30KM, 10KM, 5KM and a 1KM kids run.  Each gently rolling course offers the true experience of running in Whistler with many views of the natural beauty it has to offer.  

To top it off Whistler Half Marathon puts on a weekend full of experiences including kids activities, live concerts and seminars, this is certainly a running weekend you will not forget.

3. Arts Whistler presents The Chili Thom Experience


When: June 2-26, 2017

Description:  Chili Thom was the definition of a local artist here in Whistler.  He was a living legend that has left his mark on the local art community and the world.  The Audain Art Museum has put together all of his wonderful creations in one place to view over one month.  His signature paintings from collectors all around the world will be on display during the month of June. 

Chili Thom was best known for his stunning landscapes. He often gleaned inspiration from his mountain home and turned it into paintings that are certainly unique, with bright, bold colours, snow-covered trees and his signature clouds.

4. Phat Wednesdays Downhill Race


When: June 7th and 14th, 2017

Description:  Get your gears moving with Phat Wednesday Race series.  Open for all ages 10 and up this is certainly one of Whistler Blackcomb's most popular open races. Once your race is finished and you've proven you're the hardest of the hard you can celebrate your achievements at the Garibaldi Lift Company for aprés, every racer gets a beer ticket!

5. Whistler Farmers Market


When: Every Sunday throughout summer, including Wednesday evenings during July and August.

Description:  Full of activity and local goodies, the Whistler Farmers market is something you have to experience during your stay.  With multitudes of local businesses ranging from Pemberton to Squamish you will find everything the Sea to Sky corridor has to offer.  Be sure to visit all of the great bakery and food stands throughout to make your stomach happy.
