The family friendly neighbourhood of Alpine Meadows is where you will find a majority of our Whistler locals. It’s no wonder! Alpine has everything one needs in a small community— a local Cafe & Market, and even a Sports Centre! Also, the Valley Trail surrounds Alpine Meadows, allowing you quick walking access to Rainbow Park!

Alpine Meadows is known for their diverse community of houses. Walking down one street alone you will see the style of houses change drastically. Though, a majority are 1970s town-houses & Retro Gothic Arch styled homes—you will also come across some updated chalets with more of a modern twist! Mountainview Drive is where a majority of beautiful homes situate with a breathtaking view looking out at Blackcomb Mountain!

Local Review

Janet Liang bought her home on Mountainview Drive back in 1997 and gives her take on Whistler living in Alpine Meadows:

First and foremost we bought on Mountainview Drive because of the views. Isn't that what most people want when buying in Whistler? You have to pay for that privilege of course. A lot of the properties in Alpine don't have the spectacular views of Blackcomb and Wedge that we do because of the high trees surrounding some homes but you can always be creative with tree limb trimming. We like Alpine because it feels like a real community to us. We also enjoy the easy access to Meadow Park to swim at the pool. Alpine just felt very much like the right fit for us.
