A short drive south from Whistler Creekside is the neighbourhood of Bayshores, a smaller community known for their extravagant houses. Homes in this area range at price point, but offer a good mix of townhomes, duplexes and chalets. The Valley Trail is accessible from Bayshores, allowing connection to park space and tennis courts throughout the neighbourhood. Being close to Creekside offers a huge plus, as residents can access the ski lifts and local shops instead of driving to the main village.
Kevin Lund has been a longtime resident on Cheakamus Way in Bayshores and has a unique view of life south of Creekside:
Bayshores holds a special place in my heart. My wife Brenda and I have actually owned several homes in Whistler but settled into Bayshores for a couple of main reasons. It feels like a community. We know many of our neighbours. Even though some of them are from the city we still look out for one another. I keep an eye on their houses when they're not around and they do the same for us when we travel off to the Okanagan in the summer. You're also not going to believe this but it's a little known fact that you can ski into the neighbourhood if you know what trails to take coming of the Peak to Creek ski runs and down through Kadenwood. I won't tell you exactly where - you'll have to sort that one out for yourself!
