Located north of White Gold is the neighbourhood of Spruce Grove. The properties here consist of a majority of single-family homes designed to be fairly close together & some employee housing which were built in the late ’90’s. Spruce Grove is a family friendly neighbourhood, surrounded by part Fitzsimmons Creek and some of the wooded area around Lost Lake. There is also the Spruce Grove Park located in the heart of the community, providing baseball diamonds, a field house and even the Waldorf School.
By driving through the neighbourhood to White Gold from Blackcomb Way, it is an easy commute to the Main Village of Whistler! Also, an abundance of trails surround Spruce Grove, giving you access to Lost Lake MTB & hiking trails. Even from Fitzsimmons Creek there is a nice walking trail that runs alongside the western edge of the neighbourhood along the top of its eastern dike. This is the perfect family setting for any local resident.

Jennifer Gilford has owned a home on Spruce Grove Circle for over 10 years now and speaks highly of the location:
We're really avid mountain bikers and being so close to the trail network at Lost Lake has become a huge thing for us. We just head over to Spruce Grove Park, go past the ball diamonds and field house and then we're onto the White Gold Traverse trail and we've got instant access to any number of awesome trail linkups in Lost Lake. Spruce Grove also has a really great family feel to it. Lots of people think the lots are too close together here but we don't feel that way. It contributes to the close-knit community feel and we love that.
