5. Rainbow Park

Rainbow Park is located North of Whistler on Alta Lake. Known to be one of Whistler's most popular swimming beaches, the park offers a Dog Friendly beach so you can bring your furry friend! The Valley Trail system encircles the lake, making the Park easily accessible from the surrounding neighbourhoods. The vistas from the Park are absolutely breathtaking and you are guaranteed a tranquil spot to enjoy the mountains. 

4. Lost Lake

Lost Lake beach is located just a short walking distance from Whistler Village, just off Lost Lake Road. Known to be a locals favourite, this Lake is equipped with BBQ's and picnic tables, creating the perfect family setting! Keep in mind that Lost Lake beach does not allow dogs; however, there are designated Dog Friendly areas located nearby. And, a trail surrounds Lost Lake giving you picturesque views at any given moment. 

3. Alpha Lake Park

Alpha Lake Park is located in Whistler's Creekside area, on the shores of Alpha Lake. This park is home to a kid's playground, volleyball and tennis courts, BBQs, sandy beaches & much like other Whistler Parks, there is a designated Dog Friendly area so you can bring your dog! The Valley Trail runs beside Alpha Lake giving you quick access to the park from local neighbourhoods. 

2. Wayside Park

Much like the other local parks in Whistler, the Valley Trail connects you to Creekside's Wayside Park. Placed on a corner of Alta Lake, this park features a small beach, kayak rentals, BBQ's and picnic tables! So escape to Wayside Park and experience the tranquility Whistler has to offer! 

1. Fitzsimmons Spit

Fitzsimmons Spit is a Whistler hidden treasure as only a few locals know about this special spot! Placed in the Nicklaus North/Green Lake Estates neighbourhood, Fitzsimmons Spit overlooks Green Lake and the Harbour Air seaplanes.  This is the perfect little escape away from the Main Village, you won't be disappointed!
