Encompassing 600 acres of Garibaldi Provincial Park is the neighbourhood of WedgeWoods, a private development north of Whistler Village. Reconnect with family and friends through the forested trails right from your doorstep! With only a 12-minute drive to the village, you are moments away from activities like hiking, biking, snowshoeing and of course skiing! With only 108 homes being built surrounding 350 acres of protected forest, there is no better reason to move into such a private and quiet community like Wedgewoods.
With only a handful of homes built so far in WedgeWoods, Dean Linnell gives you his personal take on the location:
WedgeWoods is a compelling area of Whistler to own a home. Being located north of Emerald Estates and just north of the Whistler Heliport you're really about halfway from Whistler Village to Pemberton. Acreage properties are a real rarity in Whistler and this area offers that and they're all nestled within the rainforest. It's definitely got a very forested, mossy, west coast feel. Now keep in mind this is definitely not walking distance to anywhere but there are some great mountain bike trails in the area such as Kill Me Thrill Me, Comfortably Numb/Young Lust and of course the newly completed Sea to Sky Trail which is amazing. Don't forget the epic hike up Wedgemount which is right outside your door as well.
