Good Morning, Whistler!

Hard to believe but we're still skiing here in mid-May with pretty good conditions. There was fresh snow down below mid-station this morning and the cool, drizzly Whistler weather continues. My wife Betsy went up skiing yesterday and reported back that it was a bit of a foggy mess up there but good turns to be had nevertheless.

Still tons of snow from mid up to the alpine since our spring has been so cool. I hope we don't suddenly hit a heat wave as I'm sure that would be pretty bad for the BC spring flood situation.

My 15 year old son Peter was skiing last weekend on Blackcomb and was "pond skimming" with his buddies. Apparently they found a huge puddle below Excelerator Chair and were "skimming it" all day. If you're not up on what "pond skimming" is then have a look below. Good times for sure! 🤪
